Job summary

Sun Orchard in Tempe, AZ is hiring a Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate and monitor production lines, move materials, ensure product quality, perform preventative maintenance, and keep accurate downtime records while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

We require at least a high school diploma and 2 years of food production experience, with familiarity on high-speed lines and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of food production experience.
• Experience with high-speed production lines and packing/filling equipment.
• Experience operating pallets, forklifts, and production line software or controls.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production lines to ensure efficiency.
• Move materials and finished products to maintain flow.
• Ensure package and product quality and perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean equipment and work area; maintain housekeeping.
• Record downtime and machine operations; work with maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure reliable attendance and output.
