Job summary

Pilgrim’s Arcadia, WI is seeking a Line Operator for Day shifts. You will monitor equipment, perform start-up and changeovers, and keep records while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role requires basic math, English literacy, and the ability to stand for long periods in cool environments.

You will support line teams, assist with maintenance coordination, and help with rework and training as needed. A Pallet jack license or willingness to obtain LOTO certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Ability to stand 8–11 hours in cool temperatures (~40°F).
• Pallet jack license or willingness to acquire.
• Authorized to do LOTO or willingness to acquire authorization.

Responsibilities

• Monitors equipment and adjusts to maintain quality and productivity.
• Prepares work area for start-up, changeovers, and shut down.
• Maintains records and conducts periodic checks.
• Provides supplies for machine operation (film, packaging, PPE).
• Communicates with maintenance and supervision as needed.
• Assists teammates on the line and with rework or training.
