Job summary

Prysmian Sedalia seeks a Machine Operator to produce quality cable products, meet work order specs, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will input data into the Machine Center, perform setups and changes, and prioritize safety on every shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; stable industrial history preferred.

The Machine Operator is responsible for producing a quality product, meeting all specifications of the Work Order, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Will be responsible for setups, changeovers, reel changes and material relocations as required.
• Required to follow safety guidelines for themselves and their coworkers. This will involve daily safety start up checks as well as safety checks throughout the shifts.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Solid, stable work history with previous industrial experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic math, reading and comprehension of work instructions, and use of a computer.
• Participate in safety/quality/production improvement activities.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
