Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Production Line Operator to run equipment, ensure quality products, and maintain efficient production flows. The role requires performing visual and mechanical inspections, executing equipment setups, and adhering to safety policies on a 12‑hour shift schedule.

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and willingness to work weekends and holidays. Training to operate a forklift may be provided. Competitive benefits follow.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages).
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
  • Willing to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Able to stand for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Able to push/pull up to 50 pounds multiple times per day and lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
  • Opportunity to be trained and operate a forklift if needed.
  • Must be able to work in a high-performing team environment with limited supervision.

  • Operate production line equipment in a safe manner, following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and identify potential safety hazards.
  • Monitor and maintain product quality, performing visual and mechanical inspections.
  • Execute equipment setups according to established procedures.
  • Load and unload equipment as required.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and work orders.
  • Maintain and log required information for traceability and quality compliance.
  • Participate in cross‑training activities.
  • Perform other duties as requested or directed.

Work Schedule & Compensation
  • Shift: 12‑hour shifts, 2‑2‑3 schedule.
  • Day shift: 6:45am – 7:00pm; Night shift: 6:45pm – 7:00am.
  • Shift differential: $2 per hour for night shift.
  • Starting pay: $19.00 per hour.
  • Sign‑on bonus: $1,500.
