Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Production Line Lead for the 2nd shift in Wilmer, Texas. You will oversee production lines, train staff, and ensure accurate packaging while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

The role offers weekly pay, paid training, safety gear, and a team-first environment focused on continuous improvement and career progression within the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work across multiple systems simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to change and take on additional tasks as needed.
• Experience with basic math calculations is preferred.
• Experience operating a computer or hand-held scanner is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and reconcile production assembly lines.
• Ensure the correct customer product is on the line.
• Train line workers on assembly and packing per work instructions and quality requirements.
• Ensure units/pallets are packed correctly and maintain safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour

• Additional Pay:

• $1.00 added per hour when assigned to 2nd shift

• Schedule:

• 2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more simple mathematical calculations preferred
• One (1) year or more operating a computer and hand-held scanner preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more previous production experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and work within multiple systems at the same time
• Ability to react to change positively and handle additional tasks as requiredExcellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Bilingual a plus preferred
• Advanced proficiency/knowledge and/or experience with production assembly lines
