Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating Fort Worth seeks a Production Line Lead I to provide technical, personnel, and leadership support for daily production activities. You will supervise assembly, organize work to meet schedules, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement on the line.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in seat assembly or manufacturing, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years seat assembly or related manufacturing experience.
• Trainer or leadership experience preferred.
• Must read, write and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, personnel, and leadership support of the daily activities associated with the Production department.
• Organize and assign work to meet the production schedules while following standard work assigned to the shipset.
• Monitor and communicate the daily production results and submit the daily efficiency report.
• Conduct daily meetings with the production line to review daily performance goals and challenges.
• Set up ANDON system to manage line progress through the shift and update as needed.
• Ensure the proper provisioning of the production line (tools, hardware, consumables).
• Interact with internal and external customers professionally.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized workplace; Conduct regular housekeeping audits.
• Support and maintain 5S initiatives.
