Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Flint, Michigan is seeking a 1st Shift Production Line Lead to oversee a machine line and its crew, ensuring efficient assembly of customer orders.

Hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm. You will lead packing, receiving, logging, safety compliance, and assist with team lead duties, while performing additional duties as assigned. A high school diploma and 2+ years of crew leadership in production are required, with PIT equipment experience and basic computer skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience leading a crew in production.
• Able to operate PIT equipment and basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside the crew to prepare products, including packing, unpacking, repackaging, building bundles, printing boxes, and applying labels.
• Receive, log, and track new and returned products.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist with Team Lead duties when needed.

What You Need To Succeed
