Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Production Line Lead to join our manufacturing team in North Carolina. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of production machinery, monitoring equipment, and assisting technicians to resolve issues.

You will communicate with the supervisor and may back up the production technicians as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of related manufacturing experience, forklift experience, and strong problem-solving and

  • Two years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification will be required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity are essential.
  • Strong reading comprehension and basic data entry skills.
  • Good time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Operates production machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Monitors equipment and notifies maintenance of problems.
  • Acts as first level of defense for floor issues before escalation.
  • Communicates production floor issues to the Supervisor.
  • Serves as back-up for Production Technicians.
  • Oversees line operations in absence of Supervisor.
  • Adheres to PQI standards and other duties as assigned.
