Job summary

Ascend Staffing seeks a candidate for a fast-paced food production role in St. George. Earn $22.58/hour on the third shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) with weekly pay and a benefits package including health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.

The position is temporary with ASAP start; duties include supporting daily production operations, operating equipment, packaging dairy products, and maintaining GMP and sanitation standards in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work the scheduled 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM third shift consistently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and food manufacturing requirements.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations to keep manufacturing lines running safely and efficiently.
• Operate, monitor, and assist with production equipment according to established procedures and safety requirements.
• Package, handle, and prepare finished dairy products while maintaining quality and food safety standards.
• Inspect products and packaging for quality, accuracy, and proper presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production work area.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and workplace safety policies.
• Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, or quality problems promptly to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, sanitation, and quality team members to meet daily production goals.
