Job summary

Novipax Paxinos is seeking an Assistant Operator to support line setup, changeovers, and material handling on the production floor in Paxinos, PA. The role includes adjusting die heads, feeding raw materials, and assisting the QA Packer as needed.

You will keep work areas clean, operate cranes and forklifts safely, and follow safety rules while helping meet production targets. This is an on-site role emphasizing teamwork and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Assist line setup, changeovers, set slitters, separators, adjust hammer mill doors and die head to prevent overspray.
• Inspect work in process for conformance to quality standards advising operator of any deficiencies.
• Continuously clean machine, floors and work areas.
• Unload, load and feed raw materials into the machine.
• Operate Job Cranes and Forklifts in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Work as an assistant, taking instructions from the operator and performing any combination of incidental tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper levels of adhesive in the hot melt glue tank.
• Satisfy production requirements and assist in other plant areas as needed.
• End of shift duties include cleaning work areas.
