Job summary

GILLIG is seeking an Engineer in Liaison Engineering at our Livermore, CA plant. In this on-site role, you will provide crucial technical support for transit bus assembly, collaborating with engineers and technicians. You will utilize your engineering expertise to troubleshoot production issues, enhance manufacturing processes, and mentor junior team members. We're looking for a candidate with a degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience, offering a salary range of $75,000 - $130,000 with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience within the Engineering industry.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, product assembly, and testing experience.
• Experience in designing components including DFM and DFS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in assembling transit buses.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Support manufacturing with design for manufacturability.
