Job summary

Volvo Cars is seeking a Production Supervisor in Ridgeville, SC to lead a high-performing Manufacturing and Supply Chain team. You will drive safety, quality, delivery and cost targets through clear leadership and coaching.

The role emphasizes Real Time Management, standardized work, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. A Bachelor's degree or manufacturing experience, 3+ years of leadership, and Lean TPS exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leadership experience required.

• Real Time Management and setup of process and utilization.

• Ability to coach and train team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of production and operating team members.
• Foster growth and development of team members to reach their full potential.
• Drive the training strategy for the team.
• Provide coaching and feedback to cultivate a high-performance culture.
• Own team performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Financials and Environmental targets.
• Identify growth areas and build skills, competencies, and engagement.
• Lead Real Time Management with metric-driven strategies and quick decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company standards (BMS, VCMS, ISO 9001/14001).
• Lead the team to reach targets and continuously improve them (scorecard).
• Create a motivational environment and recognize achievements.
• Monitor, coach and train Standardized Work for consistency and quality.
