The Production Leader/Hourly Supervisor will supervise, lead, and coordinate the activities of the production department to achieve company goals. The role requires working overtime during the production season, which includes 2nd shift hours from 5 PM to 5 AM, from late July through mid-November, including weekends.

Responsibilities include:

• Direct and supervise all processes to produce products that meet specifications.
• Ensure the safety of all employees.
• Meet production costs that are equal to or less than standard.
• Encourage teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Train employees to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
• Make decisions regarding product quality, employee relations, and equipment issues.
• Assist in developing plant budgets and daily production plans.
• Ensure GMPs, safety rules, and regulations are followed and enforced.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2-5 years of related experience.
• Certification or ability to become certified in Better Process Control School, Thermal Processing, and Container Closure.
• Willingness to work overtime during the production season, including weekends and 2nd shift hours.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

The wage range is $25 to $30 per hour, based on skills, abilities, and experience.
