Job summary

Ideal Aerosmith is seeking a Production Manager in Grand Forks, ND to lead day-to-day production across Electrical Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, and Integration. You will supervise supervisors, manage staffing, and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

This hands-on leadership role drives continuous improvement, capacity planning, and workflow optimization in a low-volume, high-mix environment, with ISO 9001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, manufacturing, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing/production leadership experience.
• Experience leading multiple teams and supervisors.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• U.S. citizenship due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across Electrical Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, and Integration to meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Coach supervisors and Production Scheduler; assign work and track performance.
• Directly manage Integration Technicians and drive staff development.
• Plan executable production priorities and coordinate labor, capacity, and workflow across departments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management to resolve technical, material, quality, and scheduling issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and monitor production metrics.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and safe work practices.
