What You'll Do
As a Production Leader, you will be responsible for leading production operations, coaching team members, and driving execution across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion a safety-first culture and ensure safe work practices throughout the department
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve operational excellence
- Drive daily and weekly production goals while ensuring customer commitments are met
- Monitor workflow, staffing, and production schedules to maximize efficiency and throughput
- Promote First Pass Quality and ensure products are built to specification
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Leadership
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles
- Resolve production challenges and remove barriers impacting performance
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, communication, and employee engagement
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and talent development activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field
- Experience in electrical, industrial, or custom manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, flow, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Make-to-order manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with electrical-mechanical products, assembly, or fabrication operations
