Job summary

What You'll Do

As a Production Leader, you will be responsible for leading production operations, coaching team members, and driving execution across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure safe work practices throughout the department
  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve operational excellence
  • Drive daily and weekly production goals while ensuring customer commitments are met
  • Monitor workflow, staffing, and production schedules to maximize efficiency and throughput
  • Promote First Pass Quality and ensure products are built to specification
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Leadership
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles
  • Resolve production challenges and remove barriers impacting performance
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, communication, and employee engagement
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and talent development activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
What We're Looking For

  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive results

  • Experience balancing safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field
  • Experience in electrical, industrial, or custom manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, flow, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Make-to-order manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with electrical-mechanical products, assembly, or fabrication operations
