Job summary

APP is seeking a Production Lead to assist the Supervisor in directing and informing employees on assigned work. This working Lead will also perform their regular duties and cross-train others to maintain production flow and KPI targets.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a solid understanding of production equipment and safety procedures. On-site California location with employee-focused benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a production environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Basic knowledge of chart and graph interpretation.
• Familiarity with production equipment and workflow processes.
• Demonstrated leadership in manufacturing.
• Ability to lead others and follow safety procedures.
• Good attendance with no warnings in the past year.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and directs work activities of employees in assigned areas.
• Keeps track of work in progress and communicates with team and managers.
• Aids in training and assists the Supervisor in directing activities.
• Maintains knowledge of company policies and safety rules.
• Supports audits and reports any defects or safety incidents.
• Ensures production flow runs on schedule and cross-trains when needed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by department manager.
