Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Vicksburg, MS is seeking a Lead Production Associate to guide a production team from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role focuses on maintaining safety and quality while coordinating with supervisors to meet daily targets.

The successful candidate will oversee machinery, manage inventory, and promote teamwork to ensure smooth operations in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Applicable benefits are offered with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide and oversee the production team machinery and lines, process materials, package products, and organize inventory.
• Maintain safety protocols and uphold high quality standards.
• Oversee quality control and manage policies, processes, and procedures for materials, WIP, and finished goods; drive productivity.
• Inspire and lead employees to enhance productivity and achieve production targets.
• Cultivate a collaborative team atmosphere; promote open dialogue and teamwork.
• Establish and communicate clear team objectives; ensure goals are understood and pursued by the team.
• Coordinate with supervision to complete tasks and with maintenance to keep equipment operational.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.
