Job summary

Wells is seeking a Batch Plant Supervisor to lead concrete batching operations and uphold safety and quality standards. You will coordinate through Production, QC, and Maintenance to ensure efficient daily output and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, safety-focused leader with experience in concrete batching and quality control.
• Experience operating batching equipment and coordinating with maintenance and QC teams.
• Ability to train others and drive continuous improvement in plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with Production and Quality Control to ensure accurate batching and record keeping.
• Operates forklifts, trucks, front-end loader, crane-ways and batching equipment.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance.
• Work with outside vendors for delivery of aggregates and admixtures.
• Record and follow safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Continuously improve the batching process and push for high output.
• Batch concrete as needed for each job and perform necessary calculations.
• Inspect and clean batching area and equipment daily.
