Job Description

MISSION:

To provide leadership that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement. To assist with budget management, shipments, process control, and cross-training.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Teamwork
   • Prioritize work and shift setup based on throughput needs.
   • Participate in staffing projections.
   • Coordinate scheduling of overtime and vacations per policy.
   • Address performance issues respectfully and notify supervision for further action.
   • Contribute objective input for project and performance evaluations.
   • Train employees on new skills or coordinate with trainers to improve performance.
   • Allocate resources to support departmental needs and meet daily throughput.
   • Support a harassment-free environment and avoid favoritism.
2. Process Control
   • Report out-of-control processes.
   • Facilitate process adjustments and root cause analysis.
   • Promote process control within teams.
3. Planning
   • Coordinate capacity requirements and throughput commitments.
   • Assist in forecasting and achieving team metrics.
4. Other Responsibilities
   • Interface with customers, engineering, and other departments as needed.
   • Maintain accurate attendance records.
   • Address fitness-for-duty issues promptly.
   • Ensure safety and housekeeping compliance.
   • Adhere to company policies and report deviations.
   • Meet the expectations of the Lead position as defined by supervisors.
   • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
