Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a Lead Production Operator in Agawam, MA to model safety and drive efficient production within the department. You will communicate across supervisors and staff, ensuring that shifts run smoothly and goals are achieved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with Shift Supervisors and employees to ensure successful production runs.
• Maintain open dialogue with the Shift Supervisor about changes, problems and accomplishments.
• Follow the chain of command and document matters requiring supervisory involvement.
• Assist with training and integrating of new employees to the department.
• Promote safety within the department and assist with accident investigations as needed.
• Be familiar with all jobs performed in the department and help meet daily goals/schedules.
• Grow and assume increased responsibilities as production demands dictate.
