Job summary

MeriCal is seeking a Production Assembler Lead to oversee floor activities, ensuring schedules meet customer commitments and that packaging instructions are followed exactly. You will perform ongoing quality checks, sign off on line readiness, and contribute to training and daily level goals.

The role requires 1–3 years as a production line lead (FDA packaging preferred), a high school diploma or higher, and strong English communication abilities to read and interpret paperwork and operate

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years working as a production line lead, preferably in FDA packaging environment.
• Strong communication skills with a solid understanding of production processes and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret all production paperwork including safety rules, new GMPs for FDA compliance. and a job sheet instructions to ensure quality products are being produced per customer standards.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using calculators or other measuring devices necessary to calculate, surmise, and track production on an hourly/daily/weekly, or monthly basis, to determine accurate and detailed production numbers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure finished products meet MeriCal and customer quality standards.
• Verify the job being produced matches packaging instructions on paperwork and notify QA/Manager/customer service if discrepancies exist.
• Oversee quality checks to ensure finished product meets standards.
• Ensure next job is staged and ready after previous job finishes and line is clear.
• Maintain line cleaning logs and ensure paperwork is properly completed and signed.
• Assist in training production line personnel.
• Assign work and set daily goals and expectations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize production.
