Production Lead (EV) - 2nd Shift - Tecumseh, NE

Job Details:
  • Pay: $21.10/hr
  • Hours: 2:30PM - 11:00PM (start and end times may vary)
Job Description:

The CAS Leader is responsible for understanding all roles within the CAS department, replacing associates as needed, and assisting in training and management to ensure safety and standards. The leader should have general knowledge of CAS equipment for audits and coordinate with Maintenance. Responsibilities include paperwork and data entry related to attendance, audits, SOPs, and training, especially in the absence of supervisors or managers. The role involves working with USDA and other department managers, along with additional duties as assigned by production management.

Requirements:

The candidate must be proficient in the above areas, possess leadership qualities, good communication skills, and the ability to manage workflow efficiently. Physical stamina to be on your feet all day and mastery of animal welfare standards are required. Ability to adapt to process changes and accept responsibility is essential. Experience in managing others is a plus.

Rehire Consideration:
  • Maximum of two (2) previous Tyson employments considered for hire
  • 90 days (3 months) waiting period
