Job Details:

Pay: $21.10/hr

Hours: 4:30PM - 1:00AM (start and end times may vary)

Summary: All Line Leaders report to the Production Manager on daily functions of their department, perform inspections and audits to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency according to SOPs.

Leader I Responsibilities:

  • Prepare department for production, including staffing
  • Lead morning stretching
  • Coordinate with other Leaders and Managers for quality and line flow
  • Conduct equipment, product, and performance audits; record data
  • Monitor efficiency areas
  • Understand equipment operation and quality impact
  • Report downtime and issues to Production Manager and Maintenance
  • End-of-day shutdown procedures
  • Train and coach associates
  • Assist with employee reviews and disciplinary actions
  • Support HR communications
  • Other duties as assigned

Leader II Responsibilities: Includes Leader I duties plus change out responsibilities, participation in discipline process, and payroll info facilitation.

Leader III Responsibilities: Includes Leader I & II duties plus employee review presentations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Rarely kneel, crouch, crawl
  • Occasionally climb, lift (up to 45 lbs.), push/pull (up to 100 lbs.)
  • Frequently lift (up to 10 lbs.), grasp, manipulate, balance
  • Continuously stand, walk, bend, work around machinery, in various environments

  • Max of two previous Tyson employments considered for hire
  • 90-day waiting period
