The Production Lead, Digital Print coordinates routing of jobs to and from digital presses, actively operating equipment, and completing production work tied to job tickets to ensure work moves efficiently through the press area and is finished accurately and on time for Smartpress customers. This role is a working lead and serves as a subject matter expert on digital print equipment and processes. You will learn new equipment and technologies and train teammates on machine set-up, maintenance, and workflow efficiency. While not a formal manager, you will provide feedback to leadership on training progress and skill development and ensure quality and production standards are met, performing quality checks prior to shipment, and coordinating with Customer Service Representatives and managers. You will help troubleshoot issues and enter rework tickets as needed, supporting root cause analysis to continuously improve processes and reduce future rework.
