  • Day Shift Position
  • Shift Time: 6:00am - 4:30pm
  • Monday - Friday (Fridays as needed for mandatory overtime depending on production needs)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assign daily duties according to production schedules to all department staff.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor of shortages.
  • Train, audit, and hold team accountable to standards; respond to quality issues; ensure compliance with acceptance criteria.
  • Promote safety, quality, continuous improvement, and LEAN practices.
  • Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Assist in hiring processes.
  • Mentor and lead employees.
  • Perform and ensure quality inspections per the Steffes Quality Management System.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere through collaborative communication.
  • Support company strategic, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Functional & Cognitive Requirements
  • Ability to walk, stand, work in tight spaces, lift up to 70 pounds, carry 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
  • Climb ladders/stairs; perform tasks requiring stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending.
  • Visual acuity for inspections; ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to learn, remember processes, focus, work independently, and communicate effectively.
