Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt company, is seeking a Lead Person to direct production activities across multiple work cell areas. The role requires coordinating with supervision, ensuring schedules are met, and maintaining quality records.

You will train staff, operate material handling equipment, and help uphold safety standards. The position is non-exempt, hourly, and based at our Kentucky facilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set-up production areas or startup of equipment as necessary.
• Inform supervisor of the status of various production orders.
• Direct workforce as assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow production schedule ensuring production standards are met.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and/or other material handling equipment.
• Responsible for the training of employees and new hires as assigned by the supervisor.
• Complete general area maintenance duties on equipment as assigned.
