Job summary

District Photo Inc. is hiring a Production Lead for the Books Department to guide daily operations on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of orders.

You will oversee staffing, monitor productivity, train staff, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve issues while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, printing or similar fast-paced operational experience preferred.
• Lead or supervisory experience is a plus, but we will consider candidates with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

Schedule: B Shift – Sunday through Wednesday | 5:00 PM–3:00 AM

IMPORTANT TRAINING REQUIREMENT: Selected candidates must be available to train on Day Shift for approximately two weeks, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM, before transitioning to the permanent B Shift schedule.

About the Opportunity

District Photo is looking for a dependable, hands-on Production Lead to join our Books Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with production or manufacturing experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership.

The Production Lead works directly on the production floor, helping keep people, equipment and workflow moving safely and efficiently. You'll provide day-to-day direction to team members, help troubleshoot production issues, monitor quality and productivity, and step in wherever needed to keep orders moving.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just point out problems—you take ownership, communicate clearly and help solve them.

What You'll Do

Before moving to B Shift, the selected candidate must complete approximately two weeks of training on Day Shift:

Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM–3:00 PM

Candidates must be able to accommodate both schedules.
