Job description

Bloomsday is a neighborhood restaurant owned by Kelsey Bush, located in historic Headhouse Square. We have a hands-on, creative kitchen crew whoproduce a lot of items from scratch including pasta, pastries & fermented goods mostly from local farmers.

We are seeking a hard-working, good-natured production leadwith similar ethos and a good work ethic to organize and supervise all of our prep. Duties would include, but not be limited to: making weekly/daily prep lists, managing prep cooks with their daily tasks, maintaining organization of the walk-ins and dry goods storage, doing daily/weekly inventory and completing prep tasks.

Our ideal candidate has excellent knife skills and is comfortable with weighing ingredients, some fish butchery and large-scale production tasks. We are looking for no more than 40 hours per week, with the daily schedule ranging from early afternoon-early evening hours.

We are currently open Wed-Sat for lunch and dinner and Sun for brunch. We pride ourselves in maintaining a calm and collected work environment and taking care of our employees.
