Primary Function
Responsibilities

1. Lead, mentor and motivate a team of machine operators to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
2. Oversee daily injection molding and filter production activities to ensure efficient execution of production schedules and achievement of output goals.
3. Monitor production processes, identifying and resolving minor injection molding operational issues as they arise.
4. Ensure all production activities comply with established procedures, quality control standards and safety regulations.
5. Assist with hands-on production tasks as needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
6. Coordinate with other departments (i.e. Quality, Maintenance, Inventory Control) to resolve production-related issues.
7. Identify and report quality defects.
8. Prepare and maintain accurate production reports as listed in leader standard work.

Qualifications
  • At least 3 year of experience in an injection molding manufacturing or production environment
  • Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and coach team members
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks
Education

High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance
