Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Leads are responsible for assisting with all aspects of day-to-day operations including resolution of product, personnel, and process issues. The Lead person provides direction and support for operators. They function as the primary back-up for the Supervisor. Since Leads have high contact with operators, it is expected that they are role models of the companies’ core values – specifically teamwork, integrity, and innovation. The Lead is responsible for assisting in the driving of all department operations in a manner that meets company standards for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
