Job Description

The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the Forming, Shotblast, and Shipping areas. This role involves coordinating work to minimize downtime, reviewing daily personnel needs, and recommending overtime and hour reductions as needed. The Lead will work closely with other Leads, as well as the Inside Sales and Production Planning departments, to ensure quality products are delivered on time.

Qualifications

• Previous steel warehouse experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of steel processes, procedures, and safety protocols
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, SEMS, and Dynamics AX
• Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, yard trucks, and other equipment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to plan, schedule, and lead employees
• Availability to work 2nd shift, 3:00 pm - 1:00 am, M-Th, after training

Compensation

Pay Range: $21.99 - $24.32/hr
