Job summary

Hubbard in Columbus, OH, seeks a Production Lead for the 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.). You will ensure the production schedule is followed daily to meet production and quality goals while mentoring operators.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, leading shift communications, maintaining sanitation records, and monitoring safety. This role requires teamwork and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, pushing, pulling and twisting.
• Able to wear PPE (safety shoes, masks, glasses, hearing protection, hard hat) when required.
• Work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet conditions.

Job Summary

The Production Lead role is responsible for ensuring the production schedule is followed daily, meeting production and quality goals. This is a 2^nd shift role with a working schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with a $0.60 shift differential.

Work Duties

• Ensure the production schedule is followed daily, meeting production and quality goals
• Responsible for performing multiple job duties to execute the daily plan
• Help with trouble shooting issues with batches, yields, and bagging problems
• Help in production when needed
• Lead the shift exchange communication for daily review and response activities
• Monitor the workplace for improvements and safety concerns
• Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and document all listed housekeeping duties on Sanitation records have been completed
• Responsible for participating and managing record keeping, safety, quality and production related activities
• Provide feedback, mentoring, coaching and direct observation of operator performance
• Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
• Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when required
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet working conditions
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic
• Good attitude and works well in team atmosphere
• Handles other duties as required
