Job summary

Catania Oils in Massachusetts is seeking a Production Lead for the 1st shift to coordinate activities on the manufacturing floor, supervise line workers, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will assist with equipment operation, record downtime, participate in meetings, and act as a primary point of contact in the supervisor's absence.

Responsibilities

Basic Functions

Under the direction of the Production Shift Supervisor, the Production Lead assists in the coordination of activities engaged in the manufacturing process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, procedures, and specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Assign workers to production lines to meet production requirements.
• Assist with the operation of equipment. Research production delays or inefficiencies.
• Participate in training of employees working in the various areas of the production department.
• Communicate any operational issues to the Production Supervisor and or to Production Director.
• Assist with maintaining accurate record of downtime.
• Assist with Production Daily/Weekly Meetings.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Acts as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Production Shift Supervisor.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.
