Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Piedmont, SC, is seeking a Production Lead to manage the A Shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential OT. The role reports to the Supervisor and requires strong communication skills and a high school diploma.

You will lead the team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and quality objectives are met. The ideal candidate will motivate staff, coordinate with Decostar management, and uphold daily operating procedures and training requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Fluent in English (reading and writing).
• Demonstrate positive attitude and ability to motivate employees in achieving goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead team as described in team member job description.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities to meet department objectives.
• Follow and enforce Health and Safety guidelines.
• Follow and lead team members in adhering to the Control Plan to ensure process consistency.
• Oversee overtime distribution per policy and maintain attendance records.
• Complete employee reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Facilitate daily shift meetings to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure all team members receive required training to meet quality objectives.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and in proper working condition.
• Maintain adequate manpower and good housekeeping at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
