Job summary

The Vincit Group is seeking a Production Lead to oversee safe, efficient day-to-day operations in our Memphis, TN production and/or distribution warehouse. You will lead and train staff to ensure accurate production, packaging, and shipments in line with product specifications.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of production experience; lead/warehouse management experience is preferred. A professional appearance and ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of production experience required.
• Preferred lead experience in distribution, warehouse management, or chemical manufacturing.
• Must be able to wear PPE and work safely in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train production/warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate distribution of finished goods and raw materials to customers.
• Oversee shipping clerks and production associates in daily tasks.
• Train staff, address staffing needs, and resolve issues to maintain productivity.
• Follow barcode scanning requirements and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Schedule warehouse activities to meet customer expectations and optimize loads.
• Support order fulfillment with operations, customer service, and logistics.

JOB SUMMARY

This Production Lead is responsible for the safe and efficient day to day operation of the ZECO production and/or distribution warehouse. He or she will lead and train production/warehouse personnel to ensure production, manufacturing processes, deliveries and/or shipments are handled accurately and in accordance with company/product specifications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Wear mandatory PPE at all times.
• Coordinate and ensure the safe and correct distribution of finished goods and raw materials to external and internal customers, meeting DOT and company regulatory standards.
• Lead and oversee the day-to-day activities of shipping clerks and/or production associates.
• Train personnel, appraise performance, resolve problems, and address staffing needs to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Follow all bar code scanning requirements during the inventory and shipping processes.
• Ensure all material is stored properly and at the right temperature according to product specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule warehouse activities to meet and exceed customer expectations, while optimizing loads and minimizing work hours.
• Support order fulfillment process by working with operations management, customer service, production personnel, shipping and Pro Logistics.
• Ensure standardization and implementation of best practices across all warehouse and/or production functions.
• Complete other duties and special projects upon request.

EDUCATION

Required: High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE

Required: 3+ years’ of production experience

Preferred: 3+ years’ lead experience in distribution, warehouse management, or chemical manufacturing
