Job summary

Amsive is seeking a Production Laborer in Bolingbrook, IL to support daily print and mail operations by staging jobs, moving materials, and cleaning production stations. The role helps maintain workflow across printing, inserting, finishing, and shipping.

Work hours are 3pm–3am or 3am–3pm, with mandatory overtime including weekends. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, based on experience. Experience in production or warehouse settings is preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse setting preferred.
• English fluency (reading, writing, speaking) required; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours and lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and follow job tickets and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and stage paper, envelopes, inserts, trays, and finished mail.
• Operate pallet jack and roll cart in a fast-paced production environment.
• Read and interpret work tickets and production schedules.
• Report issues to Supervisor.
• Continuously supply materials to machines and return unused materials to locations.
• Transport mail trays and pallets between production, QA, and shipping areas.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Production Laborer to support daily print and mail operations by staging jobs, moving materials, and cleaning up production stations. This role is essential to maintaining workflow through our printing, inserting, finishing, and shipping departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and stage paper, envelopes, inserts, trays, and finished mail.
• Operate pallet jack and roll cart in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Read and interpret work tickets and production schedules.
• Report issues to Supervisor.
• Continuously supply the correct materials to the appropriate machines.
• Return unused production materials to assigned locations.
• Transport mail trays and pallets between production, QA, and shipping areas and manage recycling/trash removal.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse setting preferred.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting with strong quality standards.
• Experience staging production materials and safely moving large pallets.
• Ability to operate equipment safely (pallet jacks, carts, wrapping equipment, etc.).
• English fluency (reading, writing, speaking) required; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to read and follow job tickets and written or verbal instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Basic computer experience.

Other Information

• Supervisory responsibilities: None.
• Work environment: Regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility.
• Physical demands: Stand and walk up to 12 hours, frequent bending, kneeling, reaching; lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds; repetitive motions in fast‑paced environment.
• Security clearance: This position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
