Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Production Laborer in Alabama to provide general labor support in a manufacturing environment. You will stack product as it comes off the line, assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment, and adhere to safety regulations and PPE protocols.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs (65 lbs with team lifting), standing for long periods, and learning to operate and certify forklift use.

Qualifications

• Must follow workplace safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and use of personal protective equipment.
• Able to perform job tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.
• Regularly able to speak and hear.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Regularly required to lift up to 50lbs; up to 65lbs with team lifting and/or assistive equipment.
• Willing to learn and become certified to drive forklift in addition to production duties.

Responsibilities

• Stack product as it comes off the production line.
• Clean machinery, maintain the surrounding area, keeping the area free of debris.
• Use security gear at all times and follows all safety regulations.
• Work closely with the lead operator to prepare for shift production and become knowledgeable of the machinery you operate.
• Transport trash and debris away from production areas.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
