Job summary

Hera Technologies in the United States is seeking a Production Laborer to support the manufacturing of aerospace-grade insulation systems used in aircraft.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience in aerospace, aviation, or technical manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Cut, trim, and prepare insulation materials per drawings and work instructions.
  • Assist in fabrication and assembly of insulation blankets and components.
  • Operate production equipment such as cutting tables, sewing machines, heat sealers, laminators, and bonding equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Measure materials accurately using rulers, tape measures, and precision tools.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanrooms or controlled-environment standards where required.
  • Package and label completed components per aerospace shipping requirements.
  • Follow company safety policies, FAA guidelines, and AS9100 quality standards.
  • Report material defects, equipment issues, or non-conformances to supervisors.
  • Assist with inventory handling and material staging.

Role Overview

The Production Laborer supports the manufacturing of aerospace‑grade insulation systems used in aircraft and aerospace applications. This position assists in material preparation, fabrication, assembly, and inspection processes while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, engineering specifications, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience preferred (aerospace or technical fabrication a plus).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision work.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working with hand tools and light industrial machinery.
  • Ability to work in a team‑oriented, quality‑focused environment.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Experience working in aerospace, aviation, or technical manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
  • Experience in cleanroom or controlled production environments.
  • Sewing or composite material handling experience.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, reaching, bending, and fine motor hand work.
  • Visual acuity for detailed inspection work.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Total compensation will also include a comprehensive set of benefits including company‑paid employee medical, dental and vision insurance; retirement plan participation (eligibility required); paid sick leave; paid vacation; paid holidays; and discretionary bonuses.
