Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Production Laborer to provide general labor support in a manufacturing environment. You will stack product as it comes off the line, keep the area clean, and help the lead operator prepare for each shift.

This role requires adherence to safety rules, the ability to lift heavy items, and a willingness to work in mixed conditions. GardenCore offers benefits and opportunities for growth in a large US manufacturer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.
• Regularly stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs; may lift up to 65 lbs with team lifting.

Responsibilities

• Stack product as it comes off the production line.
• Clean machinery and surrounding area to keep it debris-free.
• Follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
• Work with lead operator to prepare for shift production and learn machinery.
• Transport trash and debris away from production areas.
• Other duties as needed by the role.

GardenCore is seeking a Production Laborer that will provide general labor support in a covered and uncovered manufacturing environment. A Production Laborer is responsible for the following specific job tasks:

Job Responsibilities

• Stack product as it comes off the production line
• Clean machinery, maintain the surrounding area, keeping the area free of debris
• Use security gear at all times and follows all safety regulations
• Work closely with the lead operator to prepare for shift production and become knowledgeable of the machinery you operate
• Transport trash and debris away from production areas
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Requirements

• Must be able to follow workplace safety procedures, including machinery lock out, tag out and use of personal protective equipment
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Able to perform job tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear
• The employee will be required to stand for extended periods of time
• The employee is regularly required to lift and move up to 50lbs. Occasionally the employee may need to lift up to 65lbs, – should this be the case, employees should engage in team lifting and/or use the provided equipment to safely lift
• The employee must have the capability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and your whole body – bending, crouching, climbing - using steps and ladders, pushing pulling, stooping and reaching
