Job details We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable General Production Laborer to join a well-established packaging company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production flow of work and be able to inspect the finished products. Schedule : Four 10-hour shifts per week.

Monday - Thursday, 2 : 45 PM - 12 : 45 AM

Other 4-day schedules may be available. Potential days to work on Fridays depending on workflow.

Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour.

Breaks : Three (3) paid 15-minute breaks during the 10-hour shift. There is no scheduled unpaid lunch break.

Comprehensive Training : You will receive thorough training on steps of the manufacturing process. You will be paired with experienced team members, especially during your introduction to the paper roll feeding process.

Skill Development : This role provides an opportunity to develop valuable manufacturing skills and learn different stages of the production process.

Potential for Permanent Employment : No problems with attendance and want to advance in your career! After 3 months, you have the opportunity to stay and grow within the company! Steel-toed shoes can be reimbursed after 90 days. Guaranteed increase of pay!

Responsibilities :

  • Feed large rolls of materials into the production machinery.
  • Develop the skill to quickly and efficiently switch to new rolls of materials without causing significant machine downtime.
  • Work alongside an experienced partner initially to learn the technique and timing required to maintain machine speed.
  • Gradually work towards independently managing the material feeding process at the machine's operational pace.
  • Perform visual inspections of finished products to identify any defects or quality issues.
  • Remove any damaged or non-conforming pieces from the production line.
  • Pick and pack the good quality products onto pallets or into boxes according to specific transport requirements.
  • Ensure that packed pallets and boxes are stable and correctly labeled for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.

Working hours : 2 : 45 PM - 12 : 45 AM

Skills :

  • Previous experience in quality control.
  • Previous experience in feeding materials into processing machines.

Qualifications :
