Job summary

Manthei Construction's HIGH FORMAT division is seeking a Production Laborer to operate machinery and craft concrete products for residential and commercial properties worldwide. The role is on-site in our Michigan facility with a 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM Sunday–Thursday shift, with occasional overtime.

You will follow strict safety procedures, learn production tasks in a fast-paced environment, perform mold prep, pour, trim, inspect quality, and keep equipment clean.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prep empty molds for filling.
• Operate controls on concrete pouring machinery to fill molds.
• Remove excess concrete from molds for a clean finish.
• Inspect for quality related issues as it relates to molds and forms.
• Ensure products are being filled to the proper heights and cleaned thoroughly.
• Clean all equipment and machines.
• Learn and perform other production related duties as needed.

Responsibilities

The Position

In this Production Laborer position, you will be operating machinery and performing tasks in a manufacturing setting in order to safely craft concrete products. These products serve to transform the landscape of residential and commercial properties all over the world. And you will have a hand in making that happen.

The work environment is fast-paced and over time a high level of expertise can be developed along with the ability to spot and correct errors. Ideal candidates will have a strong sense of safety and the ability to perform all tasks in a safe, proficient manner, while understanding the importance of delivering a high quality, finished product.

In this role, some of the duties you will perform are:

• Clean and prep empty molds for filling
• Operate controls on concrete pouring machinery to fill molds
• Remove excess concrete from molds for a clean finish

• Ensure products are being filled to the proper heights and cleaned thoroughly
• Clean all equipment and machines

Requirements include being on your feet for long periods and being able to lift objects in excess of 50 lbs.
