Job summary

Benchmade Knife Company, Inc. is seeking Production Technician roles within our Assembly department.

Technicians follow written and oral instructions to assemble small parts into functioning knives, performing duties across laser engraving, serration, sharpening, fitting, and testing for performance. This position offers a structured, skill-based development path with five progressive levels and opportunities to grow while meeting production and quality metrics on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3–4 years in manufacturing.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot assembly problems and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble knives from components using small manual and semi‑automatic tools.
• Visually inspect parts to meet cosmetic requirements.
• Troubleshoot problems and notify lead of issues.
• Complete required documentation and support continuous improvement.
• Cross‑train across assembly functions as needed.
