Job summary

Kowalski's Markets is seeking a part-time Production Kitchen Associate at our Central Facility in Shoreview, MN. You will support food preparation, packaging, stocking, and assembly of bulk salads and grab-and-go items, with a focus on cleanliness and safety.

Expect 6am starts, about 30–35 hours per week, and weekend/holiday availability. You’ll work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, following formulas and ensuring product quality across our 11 stores.

We prepare foods of all types to be shipped to our 11 locations across the metro area. Kitchen Associates must be self-starters, who work well in busy environments. Team collaboration is essential as well. Being able to communicate with other stakeholders improves workflow and contributes to a better work environment. Kowalski’s Companies is a civic business. Department Shift Requirements:

• Availability starting at 6am
• Available around 30-35 hours per week
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Holidays (with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter)
• Must be able to work weekends
• Flexibility is appreciated. Being able to stay until the load is finished and the department is cleaned up

Functional Requirements:

• Lift/Carry 5-70lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Push/Pull 5-2000lbs
• Frequent repetitive motion required including, but not limited to reaching, standing, stooping, bending, turning, kneeling, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting at or above shoulder level.
