Whirlwind Steel Buildings Inc. is seeking a Production Helper to support manufacturing operations in our Houston area facility.

The role emphasizes maintaining a clean production area, prepping machinery, and assisting on the production line while following safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic manufacturing knowledge, strong math skills, and the stamina to handle heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Must be able to tolerate working in warehouse conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Inspect products for defects or imperfections during the production process.
• Keep the production area clean and organized.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and skill development.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
