Job summary

Iowa Steel and Wire, part of the OKBRAND Family of Companies, operates in a family-oriented manufacturing setting in Iowa. The role involves operating machinery, leading a crew and ensuring quality conformance while coordinating with teammates to meet production goals.

Position offers an hourly wage of $16–$22 with benefits including 401k, major medical, dental, vision, life insurance, profit sharing, production incentives and shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery used in the production process and help lead crew.
• A combination of working independently and with a group to meet production goals.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators of any issues.
• Help maintenance workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
• Keep work area clean and support other housekeeping functions.
• Other duties as assigned
