Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. seeks 1st Shift Production Helpers in Fall River to unload, inspect, and sort parts in the laser department, contributing to safe, efficient production.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, loading/unloading parts, and packaging items while maintaining quality and teamwork. This role is primarily responsible for working in the laser department unloading, inspecting, sorting parts.

Responsibilities

• Helping to load/unload parts
• Packaging all of the parts (baskets, skids, etc.)
• Other duties assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds, bend, twist and transport product and materials short distances
• Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job
• Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a team-environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
• Ability to work safely and without injury with hand tools in a an environment with metal and sharp objects
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
• Work in an efficient and timely manner.
• Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task
