Job summary

Metalcraft Of Mayville is seeking a Material Handler for 1st and 2nd shifts in Fall River, WI. You will learn shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and cycle count within a busy distribution center.

The role requires basic math, detail orientation, and teamwork. Enjoy an air-conditioned facility, paid holidays, and a $2.00/hour shift premium for 2nd shift, plus a $1000 signing bonus and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
2 years forklift experience in a warehouse.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to move all size objects from small to large.

Responsibilities

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the distribution center.
Loads and unloads materials from racking, floor, trucks, etc.
Conveys materials to or from storage to designated area using a forklift, hand truck, stand up picker.
Operate industrial truck and stand up picker to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Fill out a daily inspection before starting the forklift.
Assist with routine housekeeping per plant 6s plan.
Ensure compliance with safety standards.
Other duties as assigned.

The material handler will report to the Distribution Center manager in Fall River. This position will learn multiple aspects of the distribution center including: shipping/receiving/picking/packing and cycle count. If you like variety, this is the job for you!
