Position Title: Production Helper

Wage: $17.00/Hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

1. Collate cups into a box, run through tape and labeler machines, ensuring they are clean of excess ice cream and properly lidded.
2. Place pints into trays, ensuring they are clean, properly lidded, and have a code date.
3. Collate cups into trays, ensuring proper lidding and cleanliness.
4. Label, fill, and lid 2-gallon or 3-gallon containers, ensuring proper filling and cleanliness.
5. Operate a 3-gallon forming machine.
6. Stack or transport 3-gallon containers to the station where they are processed.
7. Re-seal boxes after production runs, mark them, and store appropriately.
8. Assist machine operators with adding candies or variegate.
9. Clean around machines during changeovers or maintenance.
10. Change garbage boxes as needed, weigh and replace full boxes.
11. At the start of the spiral, push products onto the belt, ensuring cleanliness, proper coding, and labeling, and document on the spiral log.
12. Clean ice cream spills near drains when possible.
13. Work in the freezer when required.

Requirements:

1. Ability to bend, twist, lift, and stand for extended periods.
2. Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
3. Comfortable working in temperatures of 60-80°F, including refrigerator and freezer environments.
4. High school diploma preferred.
5. No experience necessary; training provided.
