Job summary

FASTSIGNS DENTON is seeking aGraphic Designer to collaborate with the team and produce eye-catching, solution-driven designs for sign and print projects. You will work in a fast-paced environment, manage proofs, and ensure high-quality results across multiple projects daily.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of production design experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Advanced education degree preferred.
• At least one year of graphic design in a production environment.
• Very strong verbal and writing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong digital content skills.
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
• Previous sign or print industry experience preferred.
• Photo touch up, straightening/scaling experience preferred.
• Experience with roll to roll printers preferred.
• Strong skills with Pantone, CMYK color space, ICC profiles and color management preferred.
• Production sign skills, i.e., weeding, masking, vinyl application, vehicle graphics application preferred.
• Graphics or production management skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and customers on designs, proofs, and upload proofs to sales system.
• Maintain design template library with common artwork and logos.
• Prepare comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to production.
• Perform customer logo maintenance and sourcing.
• Work on different projects simultaneously.
• Maintain all equipment including computers, plotters and printer(s).
• Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments.
