Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Baytown, TX is seeking a General Laborer to support daily production in an industrial plant environment. The role involves general manual labor across multiple lines, material handling, and strict adherence to safety and PPE requirements.

Duties include loading/unloading, cleaning, and assisting with machine operations, with opportunities to rotate between tasks and contribute to a safe, efficient workplace. This is a regular full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is a plus but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must follow safety procedures and PPE rules.
• Willing to rotate between work areas as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor across Dock, TDF, Grade, Mulch, and Crumb lines.
• Assist production with material flow and machine operations.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
• Move, stack, and transport materials and finished goods within the plant.
• Wrap, label, and prepare product for shipment as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe work environment.
• Monitor for hazards and report concerns to supervision.
• Operate skid steer, forklift, or man lift if trained.
